Parents and Carers
Thousands of parents, carers and grandparents from around the world have taken part in World Nursery Rhyme Week since it’s launch in 2013.
If you are taking part at home, you are welcome to make use of all the downloadable resources via our website and Facebook page.
“We’ve taken part at home with each of our 3 children over the past few years and absolutely love the songs and resources. We’re looking forward to taking part again this year and have already started planning some activities and craft projects to carry out at home“.
Linda Norbert, South Dakota, United States
“I’m a first time grandmother and I look after my grandson 2 days a week while my daughter-in-law works. We love taking part in World Nursery Rhyme Week and I have really enjoyed teaching my grandson all of the traditional rhymes that I sang often as a child. It’s so important to keep the traditional songs alive for the next generation“.
Mrs D Hayes, Poole, United Kingdom
“We were invited to join our children for a day of activities and had a very good time. We can’t to do it again next year“.
Mahnoor Chaudhry, Karachi, Pakistan
